The much-awaited, one-of-a-kind obstacle race event of the city — 10 Tackles — is now an annual fixture in Calcutta’s winter calendar. This year, Season 5 of 10 Tackles was a massive hit as over 400 participants were pushed to their physical and mental limits in a 10-level obstacle course.
The immersive military-style challenge was held at a warehouse on Andul Road in Howrah spanning over 1,25,000sq ft. Participants were required to cross all 10 obstacles in the least possible time.
Thirty-two groups of people including women, men, and children of all ages partook in overcoming the strategically planned obstacles. Notably, there were volunteers at every obstacle who verbally assisted participants in crossing the obstacles accurately.
